Who is EastEnd4All?
We are a group of Toronto Danforth residents who care about our community and are concerned about safety on our streets. We come to the table with lived experience of getting around the ward on foot and on wheels. We also have a ton of professional expertise in fields related to city planning, community health, and other city systems.
EastEnd4All Goals:
● Expanding safe walking and cycling routes for pedestrians, people who use mobility devices, people who ride bikes, and community members who push strollers and pull shopping carts.
● Creating safer street environments, with lower speed limits and traffic calming features so that all residents and especially kids, teenagers, elderly people, and neighbours with mobility issues can confidently and move around the ward without needing the protection of a car.
● Maintaining a community where we can all safely get to work and to school, do our errands, visit friends, go to the park, and attend extra curricular activities.
